sick update and physical therapy eval

6 days later, Owen's still ill. His cough is horrible. Last night I could hear it just rattling in his chest. He's *still* running a fever, on and off (mostly on at night, off during the day). He just looks ill. I think I may end up taking him to the doctor tonight, we'll see. Last night he was up half the night screaming again. Same as every night since last wednesday. I'm pretty sure if it was just a virus, it's not anymore.

And, I get the bad mom award. Not only is my child ill, I still made him go to therapy. Today was his last day with his current speech therapist. Next week he has off then the week after that he starts with a new therapist.

After ST he had a PT evaluation. The PT said that he has some "extra mobility" in his legs. Basically that means he has some weakness in his legs that causes him to be clumsy and to not work his legs as hard as he could/should (which is why he can't ride a bike, among other things). He also has some weakness in his trunk that causes him to not be able to sit up straight without support. So, physical therapist recommends we start PT once a week. She said he shouldn't be in it for "too long", but had no answer on how long is "not too long". He starts that the week after next week.
