and I knew it couldn't be so easy as to have Owen *just* get a virus.
His turned into 2 ear infections. Anyone out there surprised? Seriously. Thursday his ears were fine. Here's what the doctor said today as she was looking in his ear...
"Well, the right one is definately infected. No wonder he's been screaming all night. (insert thingy into left ear) Wow! That's what I call a "Med Student Ear Infection". Even a med student can't miss this one". Ugh. Yeah, thanks. So, his right ear is bad, his left ear is horrible. Peachy. 2 more scripts. One for omnicef (antibiotic, twice a day) and the other is for ear drops for the pain. He did amazingly well letting them put ear drops in his ear at the office, didn't squirm at all. I'm very impressed with that!
She also says he's got junk in his chest but it's not in his lungs so it's fine. Basically he just needs to cough it all up.
Hopefully his ears will be numb all night and I'll get some freaking sleep!
