Oh man, not again :(
O's sick again. He was fine all day. Then around 6:30 we were getting out of the car to go into the gym and he just looked off. Then he threw a huge fit because I wouldn't let him eat a goldfish cracker that was on the ground. That lead to a coughing fit that sounded like he was going to throw up. Put him back in the car and came home. Took his temp.... 101.5. Bummer. He says his tummy and mouth hurt. I'm hoping it's a tummy bug and he's better by morning. It's going to suck if he starts his strep/tonsilitis count already, just 2 weeks into the new year (if he gets tonsilitis/strep 3 times (I think it was) this year they'll talk about taking them out).

awww... poor guy. I hope he feels better soon!!! But, hey we had our tonsils out, and it will probably be better for him when he's younger, won't miss school, and he won't remember when he gets older, and he won't have to worry about it anymore.
Well, if it stops him from having tonsilitis/strep every freaking month it would be great! Obviously I'm not thrilled at the prospect of having Owen in surgery, but I'm not thrilled with taking him to the doctor every month for another strep/tonsilitis infection and doing shots and/or oral antibiotics for 5-10 days (depending on which they give him. It's either 3 shots, one each day for 3 days, or 1 shot follow by 5 days of antibiotics twice a day or no shots with either 7 or 10 days of antibtiotics, either 2 or 3 times a day).
We will see what happens. Darn it too, we were hoping moving him to a warmer place would keep him a bit healthier. But it's not looking like it so far.
His temp is 103.3 right now. I usually take him in if it gets over 104. I'm really hoping he makes it until morning. I don't think there's any urgent cares open (the twilight clinic he goes to closed at 9) so he'd have to go to an ER. And that's way more stressful on him. He's sleeping now so I'm hoping he doesn't get up before morning! If he's sleeping, even with a high fever, I won't take him until morning.
