Let me preface this by saying we live in a nice neighborhood. It's a newish little subdivision with mainly young couples and families. Definately not a bad neighborhood at all.
Last week Owen and I bought some plants for our container garden (tomatoes, cucumbers, basil, yellow squash, zucchini, green peppers, red peppers and parsley). We hadn't planted them yet because a couple nights were still cold so I would have to bring them into the garage. But I left them outside the last couple nights. This morning I checked on them and they were all fine (we had some storms last night). We all went out shopping for a few hours. When we came home, Jason went to work and Owen and I went outside to plant our garden. Only to find our zucchini gone. Someone stole our zucchini! They must really like zucchini and not the other veggies. LOL! I find it a little funny, in a disturbing way. Seriously. Someone stole 1 zucchini plant and left everything else. Huh. How weird.
What irks me though is we went out to buy another one and walmart and lowe's are both out of them! I'll have to try meijer but that sucks to have to use more gas just to go get a silly plant. Bummer.
But, I'll post some pictures of our little garden soon! We also bought chives today to plant :)

Wow, that is weird. Any chance an animal of some sort could've walked off with it? Maybe one that only likes zucchini plants? lol
I thought about that, but I don't think so. All the plants were sitting in a box and none of the other plants were moved. I would assume if an animal took one it would have at least knocked some of the others over, kwim?
But, it's gone. We got a new one AND discovered a cool place. We went to a local nursery and discovered they were MUCH cheaper than lowe's (like 1/2 as much). So, that works. Everything is planted now :)
