Owen was having one of *those* days where we had to pull out the leash. He asked "am I a doggy now, mama?". LOL! For anyone wondering- he loves the leash though and loves the freedom that comes with it. We're down to only using it once or twice a year as he normally does well without it. But it's there in case we need it.

O again. I swear he did sleep at night! He was just so tired at this part of the zoo.

I had to post this picture..... there's a tiny green worm on Jason's shirt. I pointed it out to him and then snapped the picture.... I swear he's not crying though!

Oh, for some sad news.... Tuesday Owen was getting done with therapy and walking/running towards me when his Lightening McQueen shoe broke! He fell flat on his face and busted up his lip :( So, after cleaning him up, we went to get him a new pair of shoes. The silly boy wanted the exact same ones. Uhhh... nope. They hurt you once, we don't get them again! So we came to a compromise. He got a pair of sandals with Lightening McQueen on them. He likes them and wears them so.... woo-hoo! I was afraid we wouldn't find anything he would wear (those lightening mcqueens were very much loved and worn pretty much everyday because he's still on a "no sneaker unless I really really have to" kick).

Oh, and another sad note.... we noticed this weekend that Greg (the build a bear Owen made before his surgery) came unstitched! So, Owen and I are on our way back to Build A Bear so Greg can have surgery :) He'll also get a new outfit because Owen insists that he can't wear his scrubs (which Owen says are his pj's) during the day. He NEEDS clothes. What was I thinking?!? LOL! It'll be interesting to see which outfit he picks.... stay tuned!
