Pictures!

I've been slacking on the pictures, I admit. Here's a catch-up post!

These first pictures were taken at the zoo a couple weekends ago when we went to Columbus for the walk.

This was a dancing tree (and I'm not crazy!!). Thought the boys might like it but, instead, they both tried to attack it at the same time! Poor tree!

"What a fun ride!"

Silly grin!

A rare family picture. Thanks Allison!

I can't remember what the name of this thing is but he has a HUGE tongue! Here's Jason, trying to compete and see who has the longest tongue.

I swear we didn't drug the boy, despite the look on his face and the tongue hanging out of his mouth. He was just tired. Really. LOL!

Lunch time! Owen called it "Snake and Shake"!

Sleeping through dinner at Ihop.

Garden pics! These were taken a couple days ago. Green pepper on the left, red pepper on the right.

Cucumber (yes, I have since added more dirt. I ran out of one bag and didn't want to open the other until I had the rest of the plants/pots ready). Parsley and chives on the bottom (they have since been planted).

Yellow squash on the left, tomato and basil on right. I have since planted the zucchini too.

It's hard work gardening! We came inside, he grabbed his blanket and fell asleep. I thought we were in trouble, since he NEVER naps unless he's sick (or in the car) but, he felt fine when he woke up.

Playing hopscotch and enjoying the warm weather.

This picture was also taken at the zoo. Zoomed out it looks like a picture of a little boy resting on his mama's lap with his Aunt beside him. Zoomed in is a totally different story. I swear my little boy isn't evil! LOL! The look on his face is priceless!

That's all for now. Have a good day!!

great pics! Looks like you guys had fun!! I need to start planting some veggie plants too. How big is the pot your pepper is in? Also is it going to stay in the pot, or will you transfer it to the ground? I want to try growing peppers, green and red, like yours. Then I know I have to get some tomatoes growing, but I've seen some that grow upside down, then you hang them like a hanging basket... I might try those. Sorry, taking over your journal!!

The pepper pots are 9in tall and 10in across. I have no idea if they're big enough! It was more of an experiment to see what would grow in what size pot. They are all staying in the pots, we're not planting in the ground.

I wanted to try those tomatoes... it looks cool! But we have nowhere to hang them from.

Oh, and everything I planted is doing well, except my tomato, which I was worried about when I planted it. It seems to be going through "transplant shock". When I planted it, it had a couple flowers on it. But we had a few kinda chilly nights (in the 50's) and the flowers closed up and didn't reopen. Oops! Oh well. I'm hoping it starts growing soon. My red pepper plant is getting HUGE! I'll have to post more pics.

Hi Steph! Love your journal... and just FYI, that animal is an Okapi! My favorite animal at the zoo! Next time you go, we should meet up! I have a season pass there!
