You know you have a problem when....

you have this conversation with your 4 year old....

Owen- "Alright mama, time to go to Walmart!"
Me- "Why? What do we need?"
Owen- "I don't know.... let's look at your coupons!"
Owen then proceeds to take my coupon books and look through them asking "do we need this today?" and "Is this a good deal mama?"

LOL! Oops. My little couponer in training, I guess. He's heard the phrase "that's not a good deal today, let's wait until it's on sale" many many times so he's gotten to the point where if he wants something he'll sometimes ask "do we have a coupon for this mama?".

Ahhhh... gotta love it. We compromised with a promise to go to walmart tomorrow.... after the new coupons and sales come out ;)

Speaking of which... had an awesome walmart trip earlier this week. I must have thrown out my receipt though so I'll try to remember everything....

4 Kotex liners- $1 each, I had 4 $1 off coupons so all 4 were free
1 Febreeze Noticables- $5.97, had a $5 off coupon (and this thing smells YUMMY! It's 2 different smells and it switches back and forth. I got the fall one and it's made our downstairs smell awesome without the risk of candles with Owen)
2 Glade Plug-Ins Scented Oils- $3.50 each, had a $4 off one coupon (that was adjusted to $3.50 off) and a B1G1 coupon so both were free
2 Huggies CleanTeam flushable wipes- $1.64 each, had a $3 off 2 coupon making it 2/$.28. MOM- Does Alexis and/or Noah still use the flushable wipes? I have no use for them, since Owen won't use them (that cold wet sensation on his butt would set him off big time). If the kids will use them, let me know and you can have them.
1 Hot Wheels Fast Food Drive thru (so darn cute!)- $5.47, had a $5 off coupon

I think there was 1 more thing but I'm drawing a blank.....

Anyway.... before coupons it was $27.xx. After coupon it was $5.xx, but almost $2 was tax (you pay tax on before coupon totals, not after coupons).

And I'll share a coupon that everyone can use.... because.... well.... everyone poops ;) Put in your first name and email addy then click "continue". Click the first 2 "I would like to receive..." coupons (I don't do the wipes coupon), unclick the newsletter one (unless you really want junk email...) then click "continue". Make sure your printer is ready and then click print. You might have to install a coupon printer thingy... I can't remember if you do for that site. Anyway, you'll get 2 coupons for $.50 off a 4 pack or larger of TP. My Kroger sells the 4 pack for $.99. They also double coupons up to $.50. So, every month (you can only print it once a month) I get paid $.01 to take a 4 pack of TP out of the store (I get two packs a month so I'm paid $.02 each month to take 8 rolls of TP off their hands). Can't beat free TP ;)
