Here's the garden...

The first ripe tomatoes (Early Girl)! Almost ready... another day or two and then they'll be ready to pick!

Some of the cherry tomatoes

Cherry tomato plant

Cucumber plant that seems to be dying. Hmmmm....

Green bell pepper plant... lots of flowers, no peppers yet...

A couple Mr Stripey tomatoes

First yellow squash! Another day or two and it'll be ready to pick!

Another zucchini... we've eaten a few from the garden in the last couple weeks....

Green bell pepper.... almost ready!

I think this is the jalapeno plant. I'm still debating on whether to move it or not. The zucchini and yellow squash are overgrowing it. I was hoping it would grow bigger and above the squash leaves but I'm not so sure...

Purple bell pepper plant. It's having the same issues as the jalapeno.... trying to decide whether to move it or leave it....

Watermelon plant

In other news.... I will be starting college next month. I will be doing a program that is 2 years at a local community college and then moving on to 2 years at the University of Kentucky for teaching. I just got my financial aid info yesterday and I got enough grants to cover all tuition and all books/fees with some leftover to cover parking pass, gas to get there, and other little expenses. This is WAY more than I thought I would get. I was hoping to get enough to come close to covering tuition, I didn't imagine I'd get enough to cover EVERYTHING. This is great news because when I start classes I'll have to cut down on my hours at work. So.... guess I can't back down now ;) The plan is to take classes Tuesday and Thursday between 8 and 1:45 (which is 4 classes) so I can drop Owen off at school (7:45) and pick him up (2:30). I am also going to try to take a class on Monday evenings. I will hopefully be working Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 8 (or 8:30) to 2. I may also work Tuesday and Thursday from 3-6, but I am not sure.

Glad he's better and hope it stays that way. Congrats on your decision for college - you are one strong lady.
Wow! The money covers everything!!! LUCKY! I still have a butt load of student loans, and Scott has about 3x as much as me.
Good luck to you have fun going back to school!
Sam- one of the perks of having a kid ;) Not that I would suggest anyone go out and have a baby at 18.... but if you have a kid and want to go back to school... it is a perk!
LOL...I have 3 kids and don't get any grants for school. I missed that perk somewhere. LMAO!!
Congratulations on the grants--that's awesome!
