First is my cute little snowmen cookies. I was rather proud of them :) I made gift boxes of cookies and goodies for all Owen's teachers and therapists.
This is just talent, I tell ya ;)
Christmas morning... thrilled to have gotten a book (one of many he got for Christmas).
And a new Thomas movie! "I've always wanted this mama!"
And more new Thomas movies. We aren't spoiled at all, are we?
And more books to even out those movies. He had to read every book before he moved on to the next gift. At Jason's parents house on Christmas Eve they were unwrapping gifts. But once he got to a big Curious George book (400 pages long) he went to a quiet corner and refused to come out to unwrap the rest of his gifts until he read the ENTIRE book. All 400 pages. How great is that!?!
And more books!
And a big dinosaur volcano.... that explodes!
"What? Is there something wrong with eating a giant hershey's bar before breakfast? I think not."
Slowing down....
Not too messy!
But he ate a LOT of it. He ate the rest later in the day. If you ask him what the best part of Christmas was he'll tell you "the big hershey's bar!". LOL!
But he does love his Big Wheel he got too! It's so much easier to ride than his bike is. He really has a blast with this. For those who have been here... he's even riden it to the Kroger and back! Thank you Grandpa for the new helmet!!
Though, in typical boy fashion, his favorite part is crashing.... which he does on purpose :) Again, thank you for the helmet Grandpa!!
He got a package from Aunt Sam! You can't tell, but he got 2 compression shirts- one black and one white, which he's got wrapped around him. But the shirt he's wearing is a black/white compression shirt so it all blends together.
And what's this?
Dinosaurs! Thanks again Aunt Sam! "These won't bite me!" says Owen ;)
That's it for now!
Oh, a real quick update on Owens medical stuff.... about a weekish before Christmas (right before we left to go to Michigan) we noticed a bump on Owen's finger. We aren't sure what it is right now. It's possible it's a wart. It's possible it's a fibroma. Since he's at risk for being diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis (because of his spots) we just don't know. He goes to the ped tomorrow morning at 8. If the ped doesn't know (or can't tell us with 100% certainty) then we'll go to a dermatologist to get it looked at. Please keep fingers crossed that it's just a wart!

Thanks for the pictures!!! Hope his finger bump is nothing major!
He read the whole 400 page book? Apparently he's much quicker than I am--it would have taken me multiple days to read that. LOL!
Hopefully his bump is just a wart! (that sounds funny to say). Jocelyn has a plantars wart on her foot right now and it's not comfortable for her at all, so I sympathize with him!
LOL Allison.... It is a pretty good sized book and it definately took him awhile!
His ped says he's pretty sure the bump is a molluscum wart. Since it's not bothering Owen at all then we'll leave it be for now and hope it disappears on it's own :)
I think we actually have that book--the curious george book that has a ton of original stories in it right? Yeah, *I* haven't even finished it...and we've had it since Brandon was 2. LOL!!
Molluscum Wart sounds like something that has to do with shellfish. LOL!
By the way, those snowmen cookies look mighty tasty! Good job with those!
Yup, "The Complete Adventures of Curious George" :)
Thanks! The snowmen were fun to make, though time consuming!!
